JeeDota2 5v5 Cup #25 Starting Soon

JeeDota2

Our very own weekly online tournament, JeeDota 2 5v5 Cup will be held on the 1st of July, as 34 teams have already registered to participate in the tournament so they can boost their rankings and gain points to be able to qualify for the Dota2 Championship 4, that will include the top 16 teams that get the most ranking points and compete for the top prize of 400 Euros.

The games will be single elimination, best of 1 game for a 'do or die' free for all. The game mode will be Captains Mode, per usual with different server locations depending on the team locations for optimal connectivity. The teams that participate are usually different every week and occasionally have a few guests that we've seen on the international level. What will this week's JeeDota2 5v5 Cup have in store for us?

Here's a look at the registered teams and their respective countries:

Australia: ViEx (Vi|Ex)

Brazil: ActioN (ActioN) , Aesir e Sports (Æ |), Aim 2 Kill (a2k), Live To DIe (LTD^)

As you can see, we got ourselves a big melting pot of teams from different parts of the world. Including some known teams such as DN-Gaming from Sweden, whom recently participated in the recent Vengeance Cup and played in the same group as Mortal Team Work (mTw) and Evil Geniuses! Although they did not make it past the group stage, they will be honing their skills in our tournaments for a better run at it next time around. The defending champions from last week, mansing from Ukraine, will give it another go to see if they will be able to hold onto their title for another week. Aesir eSports were unfortunately disqualified against the eventual champions, mansing, last time but will be back for another run.

The JeeDota2 5v5 Cup is always entertaining to watch as few known teams that have competed in international tournaments, looking to better their skills and boost their Dota2 rankings, will also participate along with new teams that have never even been part of the competitive Dota2 scene looking to make a start and possibly even a name for themselves. Tune in as we will have the updates and results on this tournament, coming your way soon!
