Re: Well, since pause feature is now availableHi - do you suggest that we have somehting like: "if a disconnect occures, the game should be paused for a 10 minutes maximum to give the disconnected players the time to reconnect. Each team has only one pause allowance meaning that if a disconnects occurs a second time for the same team then the match should carry one.Quote WNxJesus Dec 18, 2009 @ 23:12 GMTAs you may know /pause is now available in custom games in Tournament Draft mode, I think this part of the rules could be edited to accomodate that.
Disconnects/Crashes
If a disconnect occures in the first five minutes of the game, the match may be restarted at request of either team. Summoner spells, masteries, and runes may not be changed. Doing so will warrant an immediete disqualification.
If the game crashes for both teams, a referee must be informed. The game will be replayed.

Re: Well, since pause feature is now availableI still like the idea of a disconnect within the first five minutes warranting a restart. With the first five minutes of the game being both incredibly micro and macro intensive, it only takes five to ten seconds of lag before a disconnect to put you very far behind.
The use of the pause feature is something I was both heavily considering and working logistically into the rule revamps I am currently working on. -
