  1. General

    rating

    1. Participants
      • Team
        To take part of a Jeesports.com League of Legends team competition (3v3 or 5v5) all members of the team should have a JeeLounge.com accounts and be registered as a team on JeeLounge.
        Please refer to the following guides for creating a clan then team(s) within the clan: For team tournaments, the team leader is the only one able to sign up the team to the event.
        The team leader is also responsible for providing the roster. This is done on the match details page of each match.

    2. Competition registration
      • Sign-up
        To sign-up on any Jeesports event you will need to have:
        • League of Legends added to your favorites games on JeeLounge
        • your server (EU or NA) nickname provided for that game must match your LoL server nickname
      • Check-in
        Checking-in in the process whereby participants confirm their attendance to a competition. The check-in window is usually opened 1 hour before the competition starts and after the competition registration period.
        Please refer to the specific tournament info page for more details.
        Most tournaments on JeeSports require participants to check-in before being added to the final list of
      • s and the tournament brackets.
      • Who should sign up and check-in
        • Team tournament: only the Team Leader is able to sign up and check-in the team
      • Roster:
        • Team leader must set their roster for each match. This is done from the individual match details page. Failing to do so would result in the team not receiving any rating point.
        • All team members must: Add "League of Legends" to their favourite games and provide their in game name by completing the field "nickname" for both default server and your specific server (e.g.: Europe West). You can verify that this is correctly done by visiting the team page. The "gn" should be available for all members. Example: http://www.jeelounge.com/for-fun-for-glory/clan/team/view/728
        • Once the tournament has started, no new player should be added to the team and teams are not allowed to play with players who are not registered on JeeLounge and already on their team.
        • A player cannot play for two teams during the same event. In the event a player would be caught playing for two teams in the same tournament both the player and the team would be banned from playing any JeeSports event for a month.

    3. Communication & Support
      • During the tournament Players have to be connected to the IRC channel #JeeSports.LoL on irc.quakelive.org:6667.
      • The forums are the official form of contact between JeeSports, players, and teams. Please check them regularly for updates.
      • Support questions should be asked to tournament referees via the tournament live support chat room (go to the tourney page --> Support tab --> Live Support) or via the above IRC channel

  2. Tournament
    1. Server
      *The tournament will be played on European or North American servers.
    2. Maps
      *Refer to the tournament page Map Poll.
      *Maps may vary per tournament, league or cup. Check the competition description for more information.
    3. Rounds
      *A round starts as soon as both opponents are known i.e. visible on the brackets.
      *The match should start within 15 minutes unless agreed otherwise by a referee.
    4. Matches
      *If a match cannot be played because of undisclosed reasons a referee has to be consulted.
      *In case a player is not online a referee has to be consulted as well.
      *If a player does not show up until 15 minutes after match start, he/she automatically gets a loss and the waiting player advances. In the case that both players/teams do not show up until 15 minutes after the match starts, both will be disqualified.
      *All players/team leaders should be on the irc channel. http://webchat.quakenet.org channel: #JeeSports.LoL
      *Players/teams leaders must announced that thir match is starting in the channel.
      *Admins will disqualify both players/teams in the event none of them has made that announcement and 50 minutes have passed since other players/teams in the same round have started their own game and admins are unable to contact either player/team leader.
    5. Match: Side selection
      *On the "upcoming matches" page of the cup you will see the match up. "Team A vs Team B". The team listed on the left should have the left side and the team on the right should have the right side of the map. See: screenshot.
      *During a Best of 3 set, the sides will alternate after every match. 
    6. Result reporting
      • Both team leaders have to report the result on the match details page.
      • Both team leaders have to upload a screenshot of the final result on the match details page media section. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification for the team(s) who did not provide adequate media.
      • If a player fails to report the result and/or provide proper media and does not consult with a referee within 15 minutes of the match end then the other team needs to inform a referee.
      • You will get a warning if you do not report/confirm your match result. Leaving the IRC channel without confirming the match result means you agree with whatever your opponent reported and an admin will confirm the result.
    7. Contestation
      • Contesting a match result is done on the match details page, result reporting section.
      • At the end of a match you have 15 minutes to report or contest a match result. If contesting a match result reported by your opponent you should immediately contact a tournament admin on the IRC channel #JeeSports.LoL. In the event you are not confirming or contesting the match result reported by the opponent within those 15 minutes admins will assume the result reported by the other participant are correct.
      • When a participant contests the result entered by the opponent, the team leader must provide a supporting media (e.g. screenshot of the final result).
      • All tournament referees and co-hosts receive an email automatically so they can intervene.
      • Disputes should be discussed on the IRC channel #JeeSports.LoL and/or Live support chat of the tournament.
    8. Disconnects/Crashes
      • If a disconnect occures in the first five minutes of the game, the match may be restarted at request of either team. Summoner spells, masteries, and runes may not be changed. Doing so will warrant an immediete disqualification. 
      • If the game crashes for both teams, a referee must be informed. The game will be replayed.
    9. Disqualifications
      1. Admins will disqualify both players/teams in the event none of them has made that announcement and 50 minutes have passed since other players (/teams) in the same round have started their own game and admins are unable to contact either player (/team leader).
      2. Continuous rude behavior towards admins or fellow players during the event in the #JeeSports.LoL IRC, over JeeSports private messages, or in game during the event will not be tolerated. A single warning is given, after that punishment will be a disqualification of the team at their current placement in the event brackets.

  1. Winning Conditions
  • 1v1: Destroy the enemy's Nexus. All matches are best of one, except the final which is best of three.
  • 3v3: Destroy the enemy's Nexus. All matches are best of one, except the final which is best of three.

  • 5v5: Destroy the enemy's Nexus. All matches are best of one, except the final which is best of three.
  1. Coverage
    1. Streamers and referees
      • Players are allowed to stream the match.
      • A maximum of 3 casters is allowed per game.
      • If there is lag one of the teams can order the caster to stop immediately and leave. Failure to do so will be sanctioned.

  2. Prize Money
    1. PayPal
      All transfers are made to Paypal accounts only. you must have a paypal account if you want to receive your cash prize.

    2. Payment Timing
      • Online event: payment within 48 hours of the event ending
      • Offline event: within 1 week ofthe event ending
    3. Payment Delay
    1. *The tournament host must inform the players/teams before the tournament starts if there was to be any delay with the prize money payment.
      In the event of unpredictable situations the tournament host must inform players and teams as soon as he/she is aware of any possible delay with the prize money payment. The host must also communicate information about the delay and estimated resolution time frame (i.e. when the payment will be made).
    2. *Other types of prizes
      In order to claim other prizes, such as Riot Points, Champion Skin Bundles, and Skins themselves from events, please check the JeeSports League of Legends forums for a thread regarding the event date. There you will post your summoner name, your team mates' summoner names, as well as your place in the event, and the event name itself. The summoner names will be passed onto Riot and may take up to four weeks to have the prizes awarded to the account.
